This piece is on heavy weight paper and part of a series of 26 drawings that I created after spending most of the summer of 2016 in New Mexico on fire assignments. Every chance I got, I took photos of the ever changing New Mexico Sky as the monsoons rolled in. Each drawing in this series is intended to mimic the changing colors and shapes of the New Mexico sky.
